Box for additional info about Protected Location
I am concerned that when I activated my system, I was not asked any pertinent information regarding a description of my house. As a police officer who has responded to many alarm calls, I have experienced delays and difficulties in finding the location of some residences. The alarm company should be able to provide information to assist in this matter. The color of the house, what floor the apartment is on, or the knowledge that the house is not visible from the roadway would assist greatly in the speed of a medical, fire, or police response. I believe this to be important enough to mention and I sent a private email to Simplisafe. The response I received was a suggestion to voice my concerns on the community page.

We do indeed have a spot where you can enter additional info about your location, which our Monitoring operators can relay to your local authorities. Here's how you find it:
You can type details like the ones you note - apartment floors, house color, visibility from the road; as well as how many pets, children, or family members with special needs live on the property, or anything else.
