Who is handling Webapp website?
1.) Is the Webapp a third-party app, not directly handled by Simplisafe?
2.) Are all customers required to login to their account from Webapp? Why this change?
3.) The login has been from the Simplisafe website in the past, but recently when logging in, the page re-directs to Webapp and needs to login in a second time. Why this change?
Please advise the above questions. Thanks much.

I've been in an email conversation with a tech for a week or so, nothing is resolved, I don't forsee any resolve for awhile, whether they implement it correctly or not.
And yes, several of us have issues with it.

I've been asked to disable any ad blockers (I'm using Firefox's built-in ad blocker, not any additional apps)
I've been asked to make sure my antivirus programs(s) aren't interfering with something (they're not)
Doing any of those checks or changes, did nothing to resolve the issue. I have ZERO issues with multiple online businesses who use 2FA.
They know there are two separate logins - one to the user dashboard account page, and one for the forums (from the drop-down icon at top of forum page), but it was mentioned that's not going to be worked out "for awhile".
Most of the problem IS the two separate login pages, and not being able to stay logged in to access both the forum and the dashboard and toggle between them - because at some point, you're going to get automatically logged out.
For the forum, I'm only using this link, https://simplisafe.com/user/login?destination=forum to login, but to get to the dashboard account, it redirects to the webapp login and usually requires email verification, AND automatically logs you out of the forum. I've asked them several times already why they can't just use one login for sitewide pages, including the forum, and to include the forum link directly from the dashboard account pages, so that one can stay logged in when going back and forth between the two. For some reason, they really really don't want to put a forum link on user account pages, it was requested 2 years ago, a few times since then, I don't know what the problem is in doing that.
