SimpliSafe Gen3 and Original Together?
I have an Original system that works just fine. I want to add outdoor cameras (which only work with Gen 3). If I add a Gen 3 base station and cameras, with there be any signal interference with my existing Original. The base stations will likely be side-by-side. Thanks.

Hi @churchill_dadorder ,
This is a great question. Most folks normally completely replace one system with another (especially since we offer 50% off your new system for upgrading). Also keep in mind that if you want to go the minimalist route, you'll need to get a Keypad and at least one sensor as well (that would be the minimum for one package).
But to answer your question, yes. The Original and Gen 3 sensors do use a similar frequency, so that could result in some signal interference. For best results, you just want to keep the two Base Stations away from each other in different sides of the house.
