Exclamation point and number on keypad SS2

Exclamation point in triangle on keypad with number.   Is this the number of alarm occurrences?
How do you reset the number back to zero?

@markfederle

The ‚ö† triangle warning icon indicates that there are notifications that the system wants you to see. They could be for component Errors, recent alarms, low battery warnings, etc. The number below indicates how many warnings are pending.

To view the notifications, press down on the right of the screen. Then, scroll through the warnings by pressing on the top and bottom of the screen.

Edited. See official answer below.

On another note, I suppose we no longer are alone on the board. I would not have attempted to answer the question if I knew that SimpliSafe was going to respond.

@Shiherlis, never, ever think you have to apologize for attempting to assist another customer. You, I and many, many others know this is mostly a customer supported r forum.  Not that is bad by itself, customers would historically have a chance of dying of old age waiting for a reply from Simplisafe.

Let's hope there is a change in the air, and the forums will be indeed monitored and communicated, heavily, by SS associates.  Facebook is more trendy, but when it comes to the security products arena, being able to access company experts in a more confidential manner is a huge plus.

Compliments to SS (Lee C, Johnny M - both cool names by the way) and Adam P. and Melina for the interaction on the forums.  Again, the forums are a fabulous, important resource for Simplisafe. Do everything you can to expand it, leverage it for the benefit of customers, associates and to the detriment of your competitors!!!

Here's to a new Customer Support and Notification Center!!!

One last thing: the original post is titled SS2, but the description sure sounds like SS3.

Also, after you've viewed the caution icon message, you can clear it by pressing on the screen that tiny little black "x" on the top right corner of the screen message.
