Monitoring transfer g2 to g3

If I was to purchase a new gen3 system, and swap it out for my gen2 system, would the monitoring price remain the same.

I’ve had the old price for the monitoring, it’s 17.99 currently, if I move to a new system, would it automatically go to the new price? Or would I have the same pricing?

@aurduinonerd Suggest you call SS and ask but I would be extremely surprised if you kept the same price. Call; all they can say is no.

BTW, prepay for 1 year and you get 2 months for free. It works that you get the 2 months free up front, and then billed for the 12 months at one time. Not a bad deal.

I am sure someone from the company will chime in, but that is the plan I am on, and when I upgraded from SS2 to SS3 (albeit in 2018), my plan pricing remained the same (until the price hike).

 

If you do not change anything, I suspect it will remain at $17.99, but as Captain mentioned, I would await confirmation.

Upgrading your Original SimpliSafe system to the new Gen 3 system will not change the price of your monitoring plan. Any changes in pricing will always be emailed to our customers before they take effect. You can learn more about the Gen 3 system and our great upgrade offers in this Help Center article.
