How to silence water sensor alarm during the night
I was recently woken up at 4 am by a water sensor alarm/call triggered in the basement of our weekend house. There was nothing I could do at that moment and had to wait until morning to see what had happened. Thankfully, it turned out to be minor — some water had splashed out from the sump pump after the previous night's rain storm.
At the moment, my phone is setup to allow alarms/calls from the monitoring center even when DND is enabled. Instead, I'd like for the water (or temperature) sensor alarms to be silenced during DND while still allowing burglary or life alarms to come through. In this article, I see the sensors are categorized appropriately and water sensors do not dispatch fire/police, unfortunately all alarms come from the same monitoring center number.
Any ideas on how to do this?

@kimandsylvis Not at this time, and, politely, I have to recommend you never do it if SS introduces this capability. Water is the #1 source of insurance claims. (For my $325 discount off homeowners insurance it accounts for the largest poriton). Water can quickly expand to a signficant financial loss and extensive property damage. Best to do an entire review of your system, not only environmental aspect but all security and fire hazards. My sump went off once and now the water sensor is located several feet away, in a location where the floor slopes. If it goes off, I definitely have an issue.

Hi @kimandsylvis,
Currently, there is no ability to silence calls regarding specific alarms. In your post, you said that water had splashed out of your sump pump to trigger the alarm. I would recommend moving your water sensor farther away from your sump pump to minimize the chance of getting that false alarm again.
