Base staion issues
My base station will not connect to my Wi-Fi. It says it is a server issue on SimpliSafe's end. Was on chat and phone for two hours and talked with 4 people. I have not visual and half of my cameras are off line. My internet is working, connects to key pad but not base station. My internet is working, my Alexa and smart plugs all work find. This is Sunday, 9/21/25. Have to wait till Monday to talk to upper "super tech". Has anyone had this problem before?

@lovingmylife5050 I am sure you already did this if you spent that much time and effort with support, but just in case, first try moving your base. Off the floor, preferably near the middle of the house, away from anything metallic and away from electronics. Next, take out the plug from the bottom of the base, remove the screw and pop out one of the batteries for about 2 minutes. Reverse the process and try again. Remember, the cameras, doorlock etc all connect on 2.4, not 5. My base, and dozens of others, work just fine and not an issue but you also have received a defective unit.
Once you talk to a senior tech tomorrow, please post your outcome here if you get a chance.

@lovingmylife5050 I see that your case has already been passed along to our Tech team for further investigation, but I can also assist you here in the Community as well.
What is the exact error message you receive when trying to connect the Base Station to Wi-Fi?
And if you haven't tried this already, I recommend setting up a 2.4GHz guest network with a different SSID than your home network and connect only your SimpliSafe devices to this. Doing this can free up the bandwidth on your network and can help your SimpliSafe® devices connect to Wi-Fi.
