Why doesn’t my Simplisafe not take my new Wi-Fi and password alarm off

I have got a different Wi-Fi and a different password when I put it into my Simplisafe it says incorrect password why is this?

@pattaylor49 Are you sure you really deleted your old wifi setup? Suggest you call SS support and walk through this with them.

@pattaylor49 How many characters are your new network's name and password? Your SSID and password cannot exceed 31 characters each, so if they are longer than that it could cause this error message. Also, does your network broadcast at 2.4GHz? Our devices can only connect to 2.4GHz networks; so if your router broadcasts at 5GHz I would recommend getting up a 2.4GHz guest network and connect your SimpliSafe devices to it.

If your SSID and password are shorter than 31 characters, and your router does broadcast at 2.4GHz, I would then recommend reaching out to our Support team for some live troubleshooting.
