Question about system
Last night about 3am my SimpliSafe woke me up saying that wireless interference was detected? Why did this happen? I have also read where thieves are disarming systems somehow so they can enter your home without the alarm alerting. Are they able to do that to a SimpliSafe system? I’m a little worried now. I’ve had my system since Nov of ‘21 and this is the first time anything like this has happened.

@dunford2003 To my knowledge, SS3 has not been hacked so a bad player likely has not turned off your system. As far as interference, yes, any wireless system can be theoretically hacked and have the sensor signal stopped from being received by the base. Possible, yes, likely, no. Your interference notification is one of the mitigation features SS has in place to avoid a successful attack on the system. If you google SS3 and hacks, you will find a number of "news" articles from dog invisible fences to garage door opener fobs and others. The two I specifically listed, the dog fence and garage door opener, I have tested myself and are either outright garbage or requires a very intimate knowledge of your system and the exact placement of your base and sensors. For the high power radio attacks, SS will notify you it and not advertising what system you have will also help protect you.
I have placed over 30 systems, SS2 and SS3 (note SS2 was not encrypted so a big downside there) and all are hapy campers and are confident of their systems (including my daughter, two brother in laws and a lot of other family, neighbors friends and coworkers.)
Still concerned why you got the message in the first place? Call support and troubleshoot. New electronics in your house, possibly a neighbor etc all can be suspect...but for peace of mind, definitely investigate.

I would add that "Wireless Interference Detected" specifically refers to the local radio connection between your Base Station and system components (Keypad, sensors, etc) - or rather, that another wireless signal is getting in the way of it. If it's done on purpose, that's what we call "jamming".
Since your system's local radio uses a low frequency, you're looking for a simpler device that you might not normally think would be a problem - like a garage door opener, one of those wireless weather stations, etc. If you live in an apartment complex, you might even be close enough to a neighbor that one of their devices might be causing the issue.
The Wireless Interference message means that one or more of your sensors or components may have trouble communicating with the Base Station. This is unlikely to cause false alarms, but may prevent an alarm from being triggered at all. So it's important to hunt down that source of interference so we can decrease its effect somehow.
One more thing is that WiFi uses a totally different frequency (and is actually way more difficult to jam). That means if you have SimpliSafe cameras, they would not be affected by the interference, and should stay active even if your sensors are having trouble. We recommend having at least one camera for an added layer of security.
