Keypad lights up for no reason

New system installed a few weeks ago.  Both keypads light up for no reason.  Especially annoying in the bedroom.  Lights up several times a night at all hours.  Power saver is turned on to no avail.  Tech rep told me today that I should move the keypad away from any light switches as they can interfere with the keypad. Tech rep says the keypad activates when motion is sensed near the keypad.  No motion in the bedroom when sleeping!  Gonna demand replacement if the keypad move does not work.

This has been an issue since SS newly rolled out.  If power-saver mode isn't resolving the issue, you can do one of two things, ask for a replacement keypad (which will most likely do the same thing), or, live with it, because none of us have a choice in the matter until SS fixes it.  Sorry, but we've asked SS for two years to address this, and it apparently isn't on the list of priorities.

Also try and pull batteries out of keypad for a few minutes then put back in. I had one keypad last year that it didn't matter what I did it would not work so they sent a replacement but the other one i have in the bedroom did it as well and pulled batteries out and put back in solved the problem and still going. If it doesn't work then do what colt said and call and get another one.

I have one doing that.
I called SS this morning, CS answered after two rings.
Explained the issue and was told a new one would be shipped in two days.
They do want the old one back on their dime though.
