iOS Alerts and Notifications doesn't work after moving system to new account

I have followed the online directions to delete and reinstall the app and it is still throwing the 'Communication unsuccessful' message. I have confirmed online and in the app that the base station is no longer tied to the old account.

Hello @ZThomas1987, 

Just so I have this right, you are trying to set up push notifications for a new SimpliSafe system, and when you go to turn them on you get a "Communication Unsuccessful" notification? Does your phone also receive push notifications for another system?

A single phone can only receive push notifications for one system. If you have multiple individual systems that you want to receive notifications for, we recommend enabling push notifications for one of them and then setting up SMS notifications for the others.

Thanks Emily so on the old system push notifications are disabled entirely. On the new system I receive communication unsuccessful, now a day later. I am worried there is some backend issue and they will never work.

@ZThomas1987​ Understood! Have you already tried deleting and redownloading the SimpliSafe mobile app from your device? If you haven't, I would try that as a next step.

If removing the app from your device doesn't help, can you please let me know which version of the SimpliSafe mobile app you're running, your device model, and which iOS version you are on so I can bring this to our engineers.

Yes, at least 20 times we have did the uninstall-reinstall and with Simplisafe phone support technician assisting me. We left the call without the issue being resolved but I was told a developer would be reaching out, I haven't had that communication yet. 

iOS version - 17.1.1

iPhone type - iPhone 15 Pro

Simplisafe app version - 2100.25.0 (Latest version)

Base station Firmware version 2.14.10.0
