Batteries

When I change batteries in SS items do they have to be re-installed, re-booted, or any other procedure? Especially of interest is the Base and Keypad items.
If there is a printed procedure, where can I find it?
My Keypad has been "lighting up" on it's own and suspect batteries getting old.

@shirleylox  you can get the information on batteries and how to install them in the Help Center (see bottom of this page for link). As far as the keypad lighting up, sounds like a bad sensor and SS will replace the keypad at nc under warranty.
