App failure to arm/disarm during power failure
The APP would not function on battery backup to arm or disarm system during recent power outage. The APP would not allow me to arm or disarm the system over cellular network. My cell signal at home and at my location are full strength LTE. This is the message I would receive during every attempt, " DEVICE CONNECTION PROBLEM your device was unable to connect. Check your WiFi and data settings and try again." It's obvious I have no WiFi as the power is out and router not operating.

Hi @sh2402,
The "Device Connection Problem" message on the app means that your system is not connected to Wi-Fi or cell. In your case, it seems that your Wi-Fi was disconnected (since your power was out), and that cell was disconnected, too.

But shouldn't the cell kick in if power or wifi goes down? I have tried mine and it does unless there was a fluke or something

I unplugged base station from AC wall power and was still able to arm and disarm the system from the app. Just another data point.
