Simplisafe update

I messaged ss through messenger because i was not going to be on hold for 2 hours and got a response in 30 minutes and i asked about the update and they said in the next few days they will be in the process of sending them out and i asked if they can tell me what is in the update a d they said they cant say what will be in it or what its about. Hhhhmmmmm, as us being customers do t ypu think we need to know what we are getting from the update and why is it such a secret, are they about to put something in it that we would definitely not like i mean really.but i guess we will see as im still waiting for it.

I personally don't worry about whats in the updates.  Either you trust a company or you don't.  I work for a company that deals with a lot of tech and updates need to be pushed out to customers on a semi regular basis.  These updates generally either fix stability issues or give the admins more features to help provide better service to the customer.  No need to explain to the customer that this update will help me better serve you.  99% of them don't care, as long as it works.

Uuuhhhh yea i still want to know if im paying you for a service then i want to know what im getting. Example, i am in the pest control field and if one of my customers asks what kind of chemical are you using we tell them all about it, i cant say well it really doesn't matter its what we use and you dont need to worry about it well we would be out of business fast now dont get me wrong a lot of customers dont care as long as you are killing and keeping bugs out they dont care but 90 percent of them ask and i have to tell so for them to say dont worry about it then kiss my ass i wont update then, pays me no never mind lol

I spent all day at work trying to break products, so I'm going to let "someone else" find the problems in the stuff I use in my regular life...

As always the SS forum is a cynical bunch that's always expecting the worse.

Call me what you will but do i trust anyone, absolutely not i do trust c.o.p.s monitoring center but as far as ss not so much lately and everyone knows the reason so if i want to know whats being sent to MY SYSTEM then i should know as they have before said what was being sent. Plus this is a forum so i can say what's on my mind and with ss record i always expect the worst until they prove me wrong but that will take a freaking miracle as of now.

It is better to expect the worse and be happy when it does not occur, then ignore the worst and be devastated when it does occur.

Also, history is not a guarantee, but it is an indication.

While it doesn't lay everything out, see Johnnys post here, looks like an issue with the freeze sensor is addressed in the update.  I don't use those sensors so cannot comment on it.
