New Chief Commercial Officer Interview

New Simplisafe Officer, and new interview online.  A peek of what's up at Simplisafe....

On another note, with the new call center being established in the southeast US, maybe SS will be fully prepared for the 2020 holiday season.

It'd be great if they could just stop hanging up on people all the time.  They need to address whatever technical issues are causing that.  And if they're personnel issues, well they need to address that as well.

The article is a pretty thin puff piece from a marketing company.

If the "up 50%" quote is factual, then Simplisafe will not get any better at answering the phone.  The current formula is working and making the venture capitalist investors money. They will spend very little of that money on things like improving customer service unless and until it starts to significantly hurt those profits.

@simplistuckon you could be right but certainly the establishment of a call center in the Southeast rather than in Boston is a step in the right direction.  If properly staffed with a solid, modern telecommunications systems it should significantly help expand their bandwidth.  Guess we will find out this coming holiday season.

Southeast?  Why not the Southwest, to you know, help deal with the time zone difference?

Or somewhere in the Midwest?  Split the difference. :)

Guys, I just reported the article about the new call center. I don't call the shots to SS where to put it. :-)
