Customer Privacy

Does Simplisafe sell customer information to third parties like the Ring doorbell?  I've been reading articles on how the Ring doorbell apps for iPhone and Android are selling personal and device information to several third party companies.  I am considering replacing my Ring doorbell with a Simplisafe doorbell and am just curious if I am making an improvement.

@roberte52  Click on the link below and read SS's privacy policy.  To give you a flavor, their own employees do not have access to video clips from the doorbell. They are held offsite by a third party. They are not released unless under proper court order.  Yes, nothing is foolproof (yesterday or today) but I think its much better than Ring.
