Hi @californiacatfish ,
We wouldn't really recommend a specific brand of wired doorbell. But you're right, it should be a mechanical/analog type. Any popular model should be able to work.
But I will add that if you'd prefer to avoid using the Chime Connector (which is for ensuring that the correct voltage is supplied to the Video Doorbell Pro), you'll want to make sure that the wired doorbell can supply 16-24V AC.
