That's very unfortunate for those of us who have the previous "indoor camera" installed outside with the outside mounting kit and need to replace something.
Or for anyone who purchases the camera and wants to mount it inside - the mounting bracket previously sold with the outside kit isn't available, either. Seems like Simplisafe is losing money by saying "buy the cheap mounting brackets found on Amazon".
Simplisafe - As a buyer of five of your cameras, I'm really unhappy that you don't offer the weatherproof cover for the camera any longer. It really lets your loyal customers down - all so you can charge $189 for a "new" outdoor camera. You should have let your customers know, and kept backstock for those of us who occasionally or even regularly move our cameras around and need weatherproof covers.
@kerryshearer we understand. Thank you for your feedback. We did keep stock of the Outdoor Kits for a short while after release of the Outdoor Cam, but unfortunately no longer have them available.
While I understand the indoor camera was not (I assume) designed to be water proof, the substantial increase in price for the outdoor camera makes me re-think SimpliSafe for my second home!
I am also getting frustrated with SimpliSafe. Outdoor camero(the old black ones and the white WiFi cameras) constantly losing signal. And my WiFi range is very sufficient. Had I not invested so much money on their equipment, would change to another company.

Yes, with the release of the Outdoor Camera, the Outdoor Kit for the Indoor Camera has been discontinued.
