Tried to order New Doorbell. Gave up.

I have SimpliSafe with full monitoring in 2 homes.  I tried to order a new video doorbell.  With a tight schedule to get this installed before I leave the property, I went online to check on my order.  My order had been cancelled because my credit card was listed on SimpliSafes web site with my former address.

No one informed me of this cancelled order.

After calling today and being on the phone for over 45 minutes with 2 different customer service reps who could not figure out a way to change my credit card info, and could not find the discount code that I used 2 days ago to order it originally, I just gave up.  Really disappointing.

Will look into Ring doorbell now.   But maybe its good it worked out this way.  When I look at Amazon reviews, the doorbell is not getting great reviews anyway.

Whenever we cancel an order, it's standard procedure for us to send an email letting the customer know. We apologize because it does appear that we may have forgotten to send out the email this time. We have reached out to our Loss Prevention team to make them aware of this error. Hopefully, if you do decide to place another order, we won't have any trouble making sure this one ships out to you in a timely fashion.
