Smart alarm camera not recording on motion

The old SimpliCam would record on motion and show the video in the timeline. Just installed a new Smart alarm camera and I can see the motion events in the timeline but there is no recorded video. I have it set to capture motion in all modes (Off/Home/Away). Also I will get push notifications for the camera on motion detection even though I have it turned off in the settings. Am I missing something here or do the new cameras not record and show the video in the timeline anymore?

Found out when you remove a camera it doesn't actually unsubscribe it from the recording plan or your account. All my old cameras that either had to be returned due to the noise issue or like my video doorbell where the battery swelled and failed, were still attached to my account. Had to get them removed to be under the 10 camera limit again.
