I am going to say that they have a problem with the app.  Mine is the iPhone version.

The doorbell notification should be listed under the doorbell, but it currently is not.
they also have picture quality for the indoor camera listed as 480, 720, and 1080p.  The indoor camera is not 1080p.

The app has not always been this way.   So I suspect that in a few updates to the app, it will be sorted out.

But to the "doorbell notification", if it is turned on, the system will send you a push notification to your phone when the doorbell button is pressed.  Your inside chime will always ring when the button is pressed regardless of how the notification setting is.
