SimpliCam Outdoor - Recommended Setting

While the motion detectors on our SimpliSafe cameras are able to trigger Push Notifications and recordings, they are not able to trigger your SimpliSafe system. When putting a SimpliCam outdoors, most of our customers set the Privacy Shutter to be open in Off, Home, and Away modes as there is generally less need for privacy in this instance. In addition to this, we recommend setting the motion sensitivity to the High setting at first and then lower it later if needed. These settings can be adjusted through the SimpliSafe app or your account on SimpliSafe.com.

@mom22chloe Don't feel bad about the comments on the simplicam concerning motion detection not available for outside. They hardly work on the inside too!  I have separate motion detectors in all the rooms there are one of my 3 Simplicams.
