Shorter outdoor camera power cable?
Hi, I have power right next to my two cameras (inside two feet). Are there any 3 or 6-foot power cables or any third-party providers that make cables that have the waterproof seal that fits my Simplisafe equipment?
I’m trying to avoid the eyesore of having a long coiled-up cable up in the eaves of our home.

Unfortunately yes, we do have only the one size. I would actually advise having the cable coiled up on the plug side, so it's easier to hide.
And technically, you can use any USB-micro cable - there's no technical reason that would block that. However, our power cable is specifically designed to fit with a tight seal for water and weatherproofing.

Same question here- wondering if any standard usb cable would work or whether a special outdoor-rated cable is needed.

Ah that's a shame, because it doesn't really address the concern, but thanks for your reply. I have a follow-up question, do you sell the ends of the cables or their housings separately? I could have custom cables made, but I do need those weatherproofed plugs.
