Outdoor motion detection with camera
I have the person only setting on and have X’d out all but 8 squares in front of my door and I still get notifications and recordings of every motion detection that happens. This includes cars, etc…I am including a picture or 2 and the sensitivity is on low. Ideas on how to fix this problem please?

@jude Suggest you call support, but before you do, try this: expand your zone to record movement to include all of your front lawn. I believe the small area and your ground lighting with shadows is causing the issue. Also, make sure your night vision, and not spotlight, is on. If that fails, call support. Please post your outcome here if you get a chance.

@jude ,
Are you getting these unwanted motion alerts at night?
Unfortunately, this sounds like a limitation of the camera. The Motion Zones feature works only for Intelligent Motion Detection, which analyzes the image to decide on when to trigger an alert. Because of that, it can only work during the daytime.
At night, the Video Doorbell Pro relies purely on the built-in Motion Sensor, which will trigger for any heat sources moving around within view.
