outdoor Cameras
I have with Simplisafe for 3 months now, and must say the system works great but outdoor cameras are the worst, and the software needs a complete overhaul.
I will contact Simplisafe and see if they can be returned, I need cameras that are live 24/7 and when you view them you don't have to them wake up, you need to view theme immediately.

Hi @jjrbru,
To preserve battery life, the Outdoor Camera does go into "deep sleep" when motion isn't detected. Wake-up time is something our engineers have been hard at work on, and they are currently developing a new feature to decrease the camera's wake time when connected to a Solar Panel or power cable. Once this feature is live, an update will be provided in this thread.
