@jrfair56​ yes, the Outdoor Camera was initially designed to be active at all times. But we do have an active request with our engineering team that is already in development. Check in here to add your voice to the chorus!

On that second piece - you may be looking at the preview of the recording in the Timeline. If you tap on the screenshot, that will open up the full video player. If you tap again, you'll see the video controls, so you can pause, skip, and rewind, to different points.

If you hit the share button, you can even hit the Save Video button to download the video to your phone's Photos folder. You can then play it back there, like your other videos.
