Outdoor camera NO motion alerts and NO recordings on timeline

Installed 1 out of 3 brand new outdoor cameras 2 days ago. The camera does not send any motion notifications and no recordings are available on timeline. The connection speed along with settings are more than fine. During last two days I spent couple of hours with support, upgraded all firmware...etc. Everything started working properly at 2pm today and now it's dead again. I'm getting pretty close to giving up and returning all of my purchases back to SS. 

Does anybody know what's going on with this company?

Hi @joea, 

If you haven't already, I would recommend removing this Outdoor Camera from your account in the SimpliSafe mobile app, which can be done by navigating to Menu > My System > Camera Settings > select [your Outdoor Camera] > scroll to the bottom of the screen and select X Remove Camera. After removing the camera from your account, you can then reinstall it.

The camera was defective. it took close to 6 hours on calls in order to get it replaced. Simply unbelievable
