Outdoor camera hardware issue error message

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone here had experience with an error message that says something about outdoor camera not connecting due to hardware issues?  Here is my story:  I bought 3 outdoor cameras, doorbell, and sensors for my new home about 2 years ago.  The two outdoor cameras I have in my backyard have been working all this time without any issues, but the one outside the garage was already replaced once by SS after the first camera was having issues with battery (draining after being charged and not lasting 3 minutes before needing charge again).  The firat camera did not even last 1 year...fine, I got the replacement courtesy of SS back in 2023.  Now in 2024, almost a year after the replacement, same camera location is giving me troubles.  This time "hardware" issues connecting to the internet.  Called support, followed all the script and possible troubleshooting and 1 hour later, support person said that they can't do nothing, they can't send replacement for the replacement either because my system is over a year.  Also because I'm not subscribed to the monitoring plan.  So a $200 outdoor camera that is useless, sitting on my kitchen counter because they don't even want to take it back.  I was willing to pay shipping just to send it back because one I don't need a piece of garbage here and two they probably have ways to recycle it or give it to their tech to figure out why it doesn't work.  If anyone here have a hack or something to make this work, please let me know or if you have similar experience please comment.  Also if you have a better outdoor camera recommendation (not SS), please comment.  Thank you for reading my venting.

P.D. if any SS customer service attempt to give me advice on what to do to fix the issue, it is useless since all the attempts were done over the phone including escalation.  So my only solution is for you to send me a replacement of your replacement or take this junk back and I'm happy to send it back to you so I don't have to see it in my house.

6/6/24 Update.  When I posted here it was basically to vent my frustration and I got a phone call from SS.  The person (her name starts with "L") who spoke to me was very professional and I felt she was in my shoes.  She made it right and I'm happy with the outcome.  Thank you again for helping me and honestly I was not expecting anything, but she took the time to call and listen to me, and helping with my issue.
