New System / Camera issue

I have a new system installed that includes one camera. I have the system settings to "only" open the camera lens in "AWAY" mode. Closed in "Home" and "OFF" mode. However anytime I shut the system off or change to home mode, the camera lens will open and the camera will run for about thirty seconds.

Does anyone have any idea how to correct this short of calling SimpliSafe ??

Unfortunately there isn't a way to "correct" this specific situation as when you have recording on the camera it will record when you arm or disarm the system and that will happen every time. It will pop on and record for about 20 seconds and then close after about a minute total.

If it is staying on and recording motion in off or home when it should not at that point there would be a fix in which you turn it the complete opposite way, you actually enable it and save then turn it back off and save and it won't be doing that motion recordings in the incorrect modes.
