Are you comfortable with showing a screenshot of what the image looks like? That might help with diagnosing the issue.
Right now there are a couple of issues I think might be going on. The first is that you might not have enough bandwidth on your internet service. We recommend at least 1.5mbps upload for each camera in your system, and of course you'll want more to accommodate other devices (like if you frequently stream movies, that can take up a lot of bandwidth too).
The other thing is that there might actually be something physically obstructing the camera lens. If you haven't removed the protective plastic film over your camera, you should do that right away.
