Mounting base
Why is there no beveled mounting base for the door bell, to accommodate mounting on a side wall? The other brand has one. Without it, I can only see across the door, not anyone approaching the door.

I'll let @davey_d explain why SimpliSafe doesn't offer one but if you go to Etsy there are many many options available that range from corner wedges to fully articulating mounts. You should be able to find something that meets your needs. (And if you have access to a 3d printer there are definitely free STLs out there you can download and print.)
