Long delay in privacy shutter after system status change
There is about a 5 minute delay from when I turn off my alarm and when the privacy shutter closes. It’s set to be open when armed and then closed when off. I’ve checked the connection and speed which are fine. It causes a lot of notifications until it closes and sometimes I have to open the app to refresh the system before the shutter closes. Any idea on how to troubleshoot the delay?

@jordanjd My guess is that your cameras are attempting to do a firmware update. Suggest you troubleshoot with support, call them today!

@jordanjd When you disarm your system, any indoor cameras will take a short recording before their Privacy Shutter turns on. This is a security measure so you have footage of who disarmed your system, but it should not take 5 minutes for the Privacy Shutter to cover the camera's lens.
I would recommend resetting your camera by pressing and holding the button on top for 20 seconds. Once you release it, you will be prompted to set the camera up again using the SimpliSafe mobile app.
