Lemon of a camera? Always night mode when set to auto. "Recordings" often lost.
This camera has been nothing but frustration. Always in night mode when set to auto. Often disconnects and doesn't save video.Yes, the room is bright and the sensor unblocked. Yes, strong connection to a stable 2.4 ghz wifi connection with plenty of speed.
I have moved the camera just in case, no better. I have reset/re-installed multiple times, still crappola.
Are these cameras always this bad or did I get a lemon?

Hi @Kl987456,
When the SimpliCam is set to Auto, Night Mode will activate based on the amount of light in the room. However, you mention that the room has plenty of light and you get the same results even when moving its location, so this shouldn't be a lighting issue.
Since you have also already reset and reinstalled your camera and it hasn't resolved these issues, I would reach out to our Support team, as you may need a replacement.
