is there an outdoor camera which will work with the current (new) simplisafe system ?

Can I mount my indoor camera in a window to monitor my front porch?  I just received my kit and haven't set it up yet.

Your camera would work fairly okay through a window during the day, but not at night.
The motion sensor will not work either day or night, as it is actually a heat sensor.
The infrared light for  night vision will not work as it will likely reflect back.

Most windows made in the past 20 years have some type of LowE glass, which is designed to keep heat out ( making the motion sensor useless) and UV light ( making the infrared light ineffective).

I found the outdoor kit to be easy to install and use. Camera is working great.

Does the doorbell work with a five year old system?

Yes, doorbell will work with any SS system.
It actually connects via wifi, so you need that available.

Ok, I upgrade my internet service to higher speed and the provider (COX) give me a panoramic modem that sends an stronger signal, plus I added a router for the upstairs that is WIFI6 compatible.  Now the problem I have is that the cameras keep on disconnecting from the system and I have to reset them just about every other day.  Every other electronic, such as TV's, Tablets, Computers, Cellphones are working fine, without a problem.  So I was wondering, have an upgrade been done to the cameras so they can work with the faster internet or compatible to WIFI6 or the 5G?
