Installing Door Bell Camera

HELP...   I have installed the door bell camera. when I put on the face plate, the door bell does not stop ringing, sent a email to support, no answer.    I am going out of town with no functioning camera!!

OK stupid question but sometimes it's the stuff we over look. Is there something on the face plate pushing the button in? I didn't get the different colored face plates but maybe that's the cause?

Hi @sara_21,

Constant ringing is usually a sign that the chime box inside of the home may be of the digital variety. If this is the case then the Video Doorbell Pro may not be compatible with your chime box. If you're able to get the model number of your chime box we should be able to verify if that is the case or not. Do you see if the button itself is getting stuck? I urge you to contact our Support team right away to get a replacement unit.

@mpresnell1951​ I would examine the Video Doorbell itself to see if there is any dust or debris buildup on the device that could hinder the two-way audio from coming through. 

It may also be that the Video Doorbell Pro has a weak connection to your network. We have an in-app Connection Check tool to help troubleshoot the camera's connection and help strengthen it.
