Hi @ibikeslow,
Our cameras do need to be installed using the SimpliSafe mobile app. If you have a device like an iPad or a tablet, you could download the SimpliSafe app on it to install your camera.

Nice to find this out AFTER buying a couple cameras. There are people who do not want to own a SmartPhone, like me. Now I have to borrow a SmartPhone, or just return the cameras. It is a simple enough operation, why can it not be implemented on a web interface?

FYI, @emily_s or @davey_d
For the outdoor and wireless indoor camera product pages, under requirements, the mobile app is listed but for the simplicam and video doorbell it is not. Please add this to the long list of documentation that needs updating/clarifying.

For anyone still dealing with this issue (as I was today), just wanted to report that I unplugged the base station and moved it closer to the front door area (closer to the cam), and it seems like this fixed the issue.
