@jrozy1956 The only indoor camera offered by SS is the Simplicam. Reviews are mixed but I have 3 inside my home and all work fine. The privacy guard is a very nice feature. Please note the range on the built in motion sensor is limited and, when it does get tripped, will start recording but will not set off the alarm. I do have a separate motion sensor in each of the 3 rooms (plus many more) that if they trip then the system is then in an alarm state. Yes, I would recommend the indoor cameras, and the doorbell pro and outside camera for that matter.

Even if you have the privacy shield enabled, when these events occur the shield will open and the camera will record. This is working as SimpliSafe intends and you cannot change it.
This may or may not be an issue for you but I like people to have all the data when making decisions.

Please understand that when the following events occur the cameras will always record and you cannot disable this:
