Indoor camera notifications to App

@ ea.mail2001  the motion sensor on the camera, in my opinion, while improved are not very useful. Limited in range, it also will not set off an alarm, whether the system is off, home or away mode.  I have a motion sensor in each room on my first floor (six in total) and 3 Simpliscams that almost cover every square inch of it.  Works well that when off, no alerts, and only alerts from the motion sensors during an actual alarm.

Please note this works for my wife and I in our situation based upon our patterns of daily life. May not fit yours. Hope this helps.

Hi ea.mail2001,

First you'll want to make sure that your Indoor Camera is associated with your main alarm system. If so, you'll be able to access the Shutter settings in the app. Then you can just set the Indoor Camera to have the Shutter closed during Off Mode.

But the privacy shutter will still open for some events such as tripping an entry sensor set to secret alert, disarming the alarm, etc. Is that correct, Davey?

Right, the Shutter settings specifically controls Motion Sensor triggers. So it doesn't affect the camera responding to system events, like Disarms and Alarms.
