Indoor Camera and doorbell pro will not install

I have attempted to install an indoor camera and a doorbell pro without being able to get them to connect.

The Samsung S-9 running the simplisafe app and the cameras all show on my routers device list on the 2.4ghz band. The cameras show as "allowed" on my router, but the setup will not complete, it reads the QR code, I get the attempting to connect to WIFI message, the camera shows up as a connected device on my router, but the Simplisafe app cycles for a couple of minutes and then goes to the troubleshooting screen and I restart. (the camera reverts back to a flashing white)

I am using a Netgear AC2600 router. I've contacted Tech Support who advised me to make sure that the MAC address was allowed. (it is)

Any other possible solutions? I really don't want to have to give up on the system as it seems that it will meet my needs if the cameras work.

@mannsj call support to troubleshoot. I have 3 Simplicams and doorbell pro and the 4 cameras work like clockwork. I have a Pixel 4a and Google WIFI mesh system.  Please post your outcome here if you get a chance.

Same issue. I have a system that is up and running, but I bought two additional cameras and tried to install them yesterday. Tech support was unable to help. He was supposed to be raising issue to higher level and they will get back with me.   Waiting...

Hi all,

For those of you who are having troubles getting their new cameras connected, what is the status light on the cameras doing after it is solid white? It should do one of three things:

  • If the camera connects successfully, the light should turn blue or turn off.
  • If the camera has problems connecting to your WiFi, it will blink red.
  • If the camera connects to your WiFi but has problems connecting to our servers, it will blink yellow.

Also, if the camera gives you an audible error message, please let us know.

@simplisafe_admin​ ,  I have a cox WiFi. The indoor cam will not connect vie the WiFi. I go through all the steps to this point. Then it just searched for a long time then BLANK. no lights nothing. I start over and the same thing occurs! I think this unit needs to be replaced.
