A warm doorbell is normal. Due to the way the doorbell handles power consumption, it can get warm. Warm climates and direct sunlight can make it even warmer. However, the doorbell has been tested to work at temperatures up to 185 degrees Fahrenheit. If the doorbell is uncomfortably hot to the point it can't be held, then we recommend checking for faulty wiring. If faulty wiring is not the issue then we recommend contacting our Support Team to do further troubleshooting.
