Cannot connect video doorbell to network

I cannot get the doorbell to connect to my wifi.   I thought it was my phone, but does the same thing on my ipad.   Thought it was the signal streghth, but took the doorbell back to the wifi and it still would not connect.   It says it only connects to a 2.4 ghz (?) but I cannot find anywhere to tell what my network is.

You should be able to check in the WiFi/router what frequency bands are turned on and the SSID(s) they are using. Then, once you know the SSID and associated band you can see what SSID your phone or iPad is connected to and deduce the band. The problem can result when the same SSID is used for both bands. Then you'd probably have to temporarily turn off the 5GHz band for setup...or put different SSID for each band.
