Camera

​The camera is horrible at night. You can only see a few inches out. The rest of the room is pitch black.​

Hi @jasoncrespin, 

Do you have Night Vision enabled on your SimpliCam? Turning it on will help with any recordings taken at night. To turn this setting on:

  1. In the SimpliSafe mobile app, tap the "Cameras" tab on the bottom of the screen
  2. Tap the gear icon in the top right corner
  3. Select the camera you would like to customize, and then enable Night Vision to "auto" or "on"

Hi @white1658​, 

Is your SimpliCam properly turning on Night Vision? Likewise, does any light filter into the room where your camera is at night - like a street light or a porch light? If there is, that could confuse the sensor on the camera and prevent it from switching to Night Vision.
