Camera troubles

Tamanri, I am with you! My system is going out to the trash next week. I wasted a lot of time and money trying to get everything to work. New cameras, new router, new base station and still will not work. All I wanted was my cameras to work so I could watch my dogs. Do not waste your money on a Simpli safe system! Spend a little more and buy one that actually works!

I have 3 outdoor cameras with a solar panel. One indoor wireless camera and one wired indoor camera. The only camera that works is the wired camera.

At this point, I have become an expert at removing the batteries from my base station and keypad, then re-installing them. Nothing works. Base station is about 6 feet off the ground in a central location. New Wifi router, new base station and yet my system is not working? My cameras will not connect to my wifi. Very frustrating and very disappointed!

Hi @mfg11 ,

I'm really sorry to hear that you've had so much trouble trying to get your cameras working. I looked into your account and noticed that a few weeks ago, one of our agents tried to reach out, as we may know what's preventing your cameras from working properly. I've gone ahead and requested another call from our senior specialist team, and hopefully we can get this figured out once and for all!

I worked with a SimpliSafe tech yesterday to solve my issues. All of my cameras are now working great. The problem was the cameras were still linked to my old base station. The tech deleted the cameras from my old base station and I was able to then connect my cameras to my new base station. Good job to the tech that helped me! One suggestion, maybe being able to delete the old base station might be helpful? I recently had to replace my wireless printer and it was not working well until I deleted all the info on my old printer in my laptop.

Good job though!
