camera stopped working. Shows offline

I have several Simplisafe camera on my system and all work fine except one, which shows offline. There is no indicator light of any color, so what's the problem?

First see if it is hooked up to a outlet that is not ran by a light switch as we have made that mistake before lol. It seems you may not be getting power to it if your not getting any lights at all.

Also try swapping power supplies with another camera.

I recently had the same problem, one camera suddenly stopped working.  After resetting and attempting to reinstall multiple times, I contacted SimpliSafe and was told to repeat the same steps several additional times.  Once it became clear that the camera would not connect I was told that it must be a "user error" and there was no possibility beyond "entering the password wrong" as the gentleman I was talking to on the phone insisted that SimpliSafe had "never seen a camera returned with issues, 100% of the problems are user error". A truly baffling statement.

Never-the-less, I convinced him to send me a replacement camera and, upon arrival, the camera instantly connected to the network and functioned perfectly first time, just as the previous camera had originally.

The lesson being: If you have a camera, understand what it requires to connect and even better, have additional functioning cameras on your network and still the camera in question fails, it is probably broken and needs to be replaced, despite what SimpliSafe Customer Support Agents may say.

^ Indeed that's a baffling statement, as SS is fully stocked with faulty cameras (incoming returns on nearly a daily basis most likely). User error is always possible, but that statement was just egregious.
