Camera setup fails at last step
Dear all,
I have read all the camera threads, and know there is potentially a batch of cameras that simply don't work. I don't know whether this is that situation or a different one.
We bought a house with a relatively new simplisafe system, including a camera. We believe that the camera was working in the previous owners' setup.
We try to add it to our (new) account and the following happens:
* Hold reset button for 30 seconds to make sure any previous settings are cleared
* Camera enters setup mode
* I hold a printed out copy of the wifi QR code and camera tries to connect to wifi
* Camera then flashes a green light for about 20 seconds and then with a clunk closes the shutter.
* App then displays the message: "We've detected a problem with "Front Door" camera".
* Eventually the camera restarts and says that it is entering setup mode.
I have checked for updates on the base system and there aren't any. I've done this right next to the wifi, so the connection is strong. It's a 2.4 Ghz network, as required.
Any thoughts would be appreciated!

It sounds like the camera is most likely still installed to the previous owners' account. If this is the case, we'll have to get a replacement camera shipped out to you. Please give us a call or email us and one of our Customer Service representatives should be able to help you out.
