Camera Recording with Shutter Off

I just purchased the system and have set up everything how I'd like. The indoor camera is set to have its shutter closed in Home mode and yet every time it detects motion, even after turning off the alarm for a short period, it is recording video. The shutter is still closed so this is coming from the night vision camera which has no shutter. 

I thought if the shutter was closed it would not record video at all?
