Camera Motion Settings

Hello,

I did the forum search and I am not really seeing an answer to my question.  I am in a new construction house and new construction is going on all around me.  Is there a way to set up motion settings for different times of the day...automatically?  My motion sensor is getting set off at least 20 times an hour starting at 5:30 am and then things go normal around 7pm.  Right now I am manually turning the motion detection down during the day and then back to medium at night.  I have also played with the motion grid, but again, I have to do that manually and then set it back at night.  Other then that, system has been awesome.  Thanks for any help or ideas.

No, there is not. This is a frequently asked question since the Outdoor Camera came out.

This is currently the only workaround other than manually blocking the view of the camera during the hours you do not wish to receive alerts.

@worthing Ok, Thank you for the response!!! I was mostly looking at preserving battery life, so I am researching the solar panel and the external power cord.

@worthing You can adjust the Sensors or manually turn on/off notifications, or the sensitivity of it.

I blocked out areas, changed to people only,

but still get a notification every time a car goes by, frustrating as hell

@Albysky76 If you haven't already, it may help to reset the Video Doorbell by pressing and holding the large button on the back of the doorbell for 30 seconds. Once you release the button, you will be prompted to set it up again in the SimpliSafe mobile app.
