Camera Home Mode?

Home mode should be "perimeter" devices only (door/window entry, etc not interior motion).  But why does the camera record for motion during Home mode with no way to change it?  We don't enjoy listening the shutter clap open and closed because it detects motion when we are home.

The camera should be able to be disabled and only awake when there is a nearby perimeter breach.  It makes no sense to record in the kitchen, for example, if the door in the basement opens.  Can we assign cameras to room locations and pair them with entry/glass/motion sensors so they are smarter?

My workaround: shut off camera motion sensor (they are too limited anyway to work well IMO) and put in a separate motion sensor. I have six on my first floor, all on in home mode when we go to bed. Sensor trips, alarm goes off and it records...done.  This works for me, but may not work for you.

If you have the privacy shutter set to closed in home mode then the camera motion sensor itself should not trigger the privacy shutter to open.

You must have some other sensor settings configured in a manner that activates the camera. And, too, remember every time the system is armed or disarmed the camera is activated.
