Battery operated Video Doorbells
My son just bought a house that has no doorbell, and he doesn't want to go to the trouble/expense of retrofitting a wired doorbell. Neither he nor I am very handy.
He will be installing a SimpliSafe home security system (already purchased for a prior house). Because he doesn't want to retro wire a conventional doorbell before installing the SimpliSafe Doorbell, I have suggested that he investigate a cheaper battery-operated local storage video doorbell and then mounting the new SimpliSafe outdoor video camera so he can get visitors recorded on the SimpliSafe system.
Can you see any gaps in my logic on this? Can you recommend some inexpensive non-wired Video doorbells?
