Web Dashboard/how to stay logged in?

I work from home and like having the web dashboard on my computer so I can see cameras all at once. It works great except it keeps logging me out every few minutes. I'm using Google Chrome. It's a hassle to type my email and password every time I want to view cameras. How do I stay logged in on the web dashboard?

Hi @beckybb ,

Our camera systems are designed for emergency response, and not so much surveillance.

And of course, we do want to keep your account secure. For example, if you left your account logged in on a computer that could be accessed by other people, your system and account would be at risk. That's why the auto-logout is in place.

So unfortunately, the use case you have in mind is currently not supported.

Why not just allow us to stay logged in on the mobile app?  I use the app to turn the alarm off prior to opening my garage.  I would prefer to not have to log in every time I want to open my garage!

Hi @901Tiger​, 

I would check to make sure that your SimpliSafe app is updated to the latest version, as a fix for this issue was released in a prior app update. If your app is currently up to date, I would enable Multi-Factor Authentication.
